Ms-28 Flashing Troubles

Before I begin here is my specific PC Config for flashing the MS-28 drive:

After following a somewhat detailed tutorial on 360mods.net [http://www.360mods.net/Downloads/details/id=61.html], I ran into trouble attempting to read or "dSam" the drive. Upon selecting either "Xtreme Master" or "Xtreme Slave" and rebooting the Xbox after 10 seconds, the system seems to hang and does not proceed with reading and backing up the original firmware. If need be I can post a video of my troubles.
