So does this mean that I after upgrading to v1.4, I should re-rip all my games with my Samsung (360) drive; or will my Kreon backups work fine?
They're all 100% stealth, and they all pass in Kreon Checker.
Hope someone can clear this up (IMG:

And to someone a few posts back asking for the command to write a drive with mtkflash, I use:
CODE
mtkflash w /m /sata xtreme.bin
Kreon should be fine from this point to the past. We are unsure about the future. Most people are (IMG:

Hi sorry if this is a dumb question but i have an hitachi 47 drive which i flashed through toolbox
is it possible to flash an hitachi through mtkflash if so can somebody please give me a link or please say how to do this thanks
Use the batch files within the ixtreme release. And, read a
tutorial here, you are in dire need of one.

Ah man, i can't get my hitachi to restore. I got it in mode B (both with slax and tray open method), windows gives it a letter (g), but restore.bat just keeps saying drive NOT restoring. It gives me 4 suggestions which i should try, but none of them work.
Any ideas? (i've tried it on a ICH5 chipset, and VIA 6241 chipset)
Also, i updated the hitachi pack to the latest modified batch files this morning. Last night i released a slightly older batch system with less error handling. Please grab from xbins again, and try again.

I'm having the same problem. Never had problems restoring on previous flashes. Drive shows up in windows but restore.bat won't find it.
First, grab the new package. Second, if that doesnt work, grab a older release, like 2.3 and try the restore. Let me know if that works.

So where does this leave people who use a regular DVD drive and the disc swap method to rip their games? Or does anyone even do that anymore?
I dont think anyone does that anymore (IMG:

I am also wondering about this. After ripping with wxripper, I always patched the image with Mulleter which does a crc check, which in return patches in the ss, dmi, pfi, and video partition if necessary.
Why on earth would you take your originally ripped image, and go and patch it? That defeats the entire purpose of ripping it yourself.
