i have a 47dj that was in a benq system that i spoofed but now that i can use the benq ive been trying to get my 47 drive back into modeb with slax to reflash it so i can put it back into the system i had it originally in the problem is no matter what i try it wont go back into modeb during the normal slax procedure it wont get to the spinning up disk part for me to hit eject etc so maybe someone could shine some light on this for me .

if your hitachi is flashed with a hacked firmware do this to get it into modeb

start up xbox and eject the dvd-rom tray
unplug the power from your 360 so that your disc tray is still out
plug the 360 back in and turn it back on, your drive should now be in modeb

Thanks vanydotk that worked , i was gone for a week to be able to try, but that did the trick. the part that was confusing was after ejecting the drive was i had to pull the power from the wall then plug it back in, but yes it was in mode b at that point and i flashed it back to its original FW and put back in my benq .

yes, if the drive is a 47-59. It will not work on a 78/79.

Van U wont believe what i did it with. I have no pins or needles. I went and grabbedthem twisties that come in the garbage bags and stripped them to get the metal wire

Hi guys can anyone help me unspoofing tha hitachi 59 drive..
I had a 360 with 0078 drive which was bricked and replaced with a new hitachi 59 drive spoofed.i have got the original firmware.Now my friends needs the older firmware not ixtreme as he dont have xtreme backups.
Can anyone let me know the steps how to unspoof the hitachi and then reflash it to old firmware.
