Some Problems With Games On A Benq
« on: November 24, 2007, 06:41:00 PM »

I have flashed my Benq drive for the first time with the Benq FW 1.1 rev2 multispeed at 8x.
All the games i download i write them on Traxdata and Memorex dvd DL at 2.4x with ImgBurn.
I played Saints Row for like an hour tried other games and when i tried Saints Row again it says that the disk can not be read, open and clean or restart console.
At Assassin's Creed same problem when getting to "Damasc".
Def Jam icon, when starting the story mode, same problem.
SmackDown vs Raw it says Loading and stays like that...
I don't know if it's a blank writing problem or should i flash at 5x...
Any ideeas ?
Thanks.

You should use Verbatims instead of crappy media.

I run 5x firmware and only use verbs and it's running great!

As Cypher said it may be your media, but is may also be your burner. Check the pinned as I don't recall seeing  a Traxdata burner as compatible. Also, educate yourself to the rules before posting as your comments may appear to be against forum rules.

The crapy thing is that i cand find any damn Verbatims in this city i live in (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif))
If it's just a blank problem then i hope it works with verbatim, but if doesn't  work, should i change the FW to 5x ?

"You should use Verbatims instead of crappy media.

After i extracted my ORIG.BIN i placed it in the 8x folder and applyed the "Make iXtreme firmware", when it put out the benq-ix bin, i replaced it with the benq-ixD.bin in the FW folder. Is this correct ? or i should have flashed with the benq-ixD.bin that was in the FW folder when i downloaded the "iXtreme_Firmware_BenQ_v1.1.MultiSpeed-XBOX360-iND"

If what i did is ok, then why is there an FW folder with benq-ixD.bin in it ?

Thank you.

Loading takes a while, but i've compared it with the original and there's not much difference so i'll stick with the 5x
