Reads It But Won't Flash (ms28)

Im trying to flash my friends ms28.  I downloaded the latest iprep and made my bootable USB.  Booted into dos with no problem.  After trying the 10 sec. trick a few times I was finally able to get it to dump the original.  I then rebooted and tried to flash.  In the process of the flash it had two different lines that told me it failed.  Now everytime I try to flash nothing happens, doesn't even try to do it.  When I plug the sata cable from the dvd drive into the 360 motherboard I get one red light and a E65.  I checked in the firmware toolbox and it said sam-cfw fffffffffffffffffff.  and my sam-ofw was what it was supposed to be.  I searched around and found this thread that details the exact problems im having.

I tried using the mtk flash command but it wasn't working.  Does anybody have any suggestions? I've flashed Hitachis with no problem, but this is my first Samsung.  Thanks for all your help.

Been working on this for two days and still no luck.  Will try and find a different sata cable and see if that helps.  Anyone have any other suggestions?

Did you wait for Samtool to make key.bin ? Sounds like thats your problem..
