Assassin's Creed On Ixtreme V1.2 Doesnt Work...?

Can't get Assassin's Creed to work.

I have ietreme v1.2 on hitachi 47.

The same disk works on my friends 360 without ixtreme.

There are comments on newsgroup of people saying it works on their console with ixtreme and also it will start after 2-5 minutes, but hasn't worked for me.

Has anyone else had this problem?
