Great work C4, i've had some probs with the quiet firmware on samsungs (backups not loading correct, dd errors) and with the fast fw i didn't have these probs, so tonight i'll try the 5x and 8x to see if those fw's are fine with my backups and if they are quiet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

my backups in verbatins singa played fine with the 1.2 normal speed , what i choose? 12x? or if i go for 8x will do exacly the same but with less noise? tnks.

I've just applied 5x to my MS28 and all I can say is WOW!

I use Verbs too and 5x is an excellent compromise - games load in very good times and you can hardly hear them. I killed all audio in the room and my Talismoon Whisper fans were making more noise!!!

Did someone try the x5 speed with games using streaming, like Oblivion for example? Does it create more lag? I'd love making my Xbox quieter, but I'd not want to degrade performance in games.

Benq 1.1 already has these features

all was detected when testing the benq firmware, so these latest features are in the benq firmware, and are updated now in Samsung as well.

We don't have it so bad, at least Hitachi drives open every time you hit eject

What is the speed of the original firmware? I think it is important to be as close to original as possible. JMHO.

Yes, but my MS28 is quieter with my multi-speed-firmware. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Nice release keep up the good work....its much appreciated around the console scene.

Anyone know what speed the v1.2 revC was running at in Quiet mode? I put normal on and the discs were spinning like crazy and making dodgy noises at times.

I think i would like to go a bit faster, but i didn't even know what it was on to start with, speed-wise all i know is that it was quiet...

Hi ppl can anyone tell me how to make put this onto a bootable floppy ive made my firmware but for some reason iprep wont reckonize it?? any help would b gr8 thanks (p.s plz hurry ive got my 360 open an its wasting valuable COD4 time hahahaha only jokin) thanks
