I thoroughly agree with you. I would much rather use the Firmware Toolbox then to open it up and solider the chip in. Unfortunately you have to remember who you are selling the software to; “Modders & Hackers”. Think they are all going to pay for it or will it end up on some torrent site? Guess that is the lesson to be learned about getting free stuff, there is always a cost, just might not be a direct cost.
