OK, I've had it. I've just replaced the entire laser assembly on my ms28 drive with one from a ms  25. And guess what? Still dirty disc errors. I've adjusted the pot too many times to remember. I'm wondering if getting a new drive will even help if swapping the laser didn't. And whats up with these weird scratches magically appearing on the disc. Looks like laser scratches. The disc is only 1 day old and the pot is set to 4.14. This can not be happening. FYI I'm using verbatim disc and iextreme 1.2 quiet FW. Should I even bother getting a new drive or just put up with this thing playing when it feels like it?
