Benq Flashing Questions

Okay I've posted this in newbie chat no reply, I searched and the search feature barely works, and I can't find the answer to this. I have a Asus P4P800 Motherboard on my pc, can I flash a benq drive with the on-board sata chipset? its a ICH5 or ICH7, I've flashed my hitachi 47dj in the past with the same motherboard, so will it work for the benq drive? Thanks

you did not read well, if you would have read the readme in the BenQ firmware pack, you'd found out it's possible to flash on a lot of sata chipsets BUT if you dont want to solder a switch it's only possible on VIA or NFORCE chipset!
