Hi,

Here's the thing.

I used an Infectus Chip to made an 79FL visible in Windows.
With FWTB4.5 I dumped the firmware.
The tool gives me a message, that the Checksum is wrong. (VIA Chipset)

Another drive (spoofed to 79) and the same key, just works fine. So the key dump is correct.

Is it safe to continue patching the 79 drive?

Could it be a bad solder connection of the infectus?

Help appreciated. Thanx
