New Benq I Xtreme
« on: November 01, 2007, 07:23:00 PM »

I flashed my new benq, took a while, and a bit of fiddling, but i managed to get the damn thing flashed... So i put in an orignal game (amped 3) it works! then i put in Halo 3, and it says please put this disc into an Xbox360 game console (you know that video) What the hell? it for some games but not for all? It also doesnt play halo 2... i dont know if it works playing backups yet, becuase I have to run to the store to buy some dual layer dvds,  and that halo 2 game is the only orig. xbox 1 game i have (all my other games went up for sale on ebay, hehe)... well so yea, let me know what you think the problem is... also had another question, in the iXtremev 1.1 folder, there were 2 options, fast and quiet, i put the fw from my drive into that folder.. it didnt say which one i should put it in..could that have made a difference? i'm just pissed cuz now i gotta take apart the box again...and thats the hardest part..lol

LOL, mine did the exact same thing this morning. I was like WTF?? So I ejected the Halo 3 disc and put it back in, and it worked fine. Haven't got the message again. The 2 folders are if you want a fast loading and noisy firmware or one thats slightly slower loading but quieter. I personally used the fast one but my Benq doesn't sound any louder than it was prior to flashing.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
