Mtkflash Only Reading 32% Of Ms25 Fw

hey guys,

i've got my mates 360 here which is running one of the older firmwares (not too sure which one but i think its 5.x) and i'm trying to update it to ixtreme 1.2c

the problem is...

everytime i get the firmware to read, it reads to 32% and then resets back to 0%.

when it runs through 4 times its not actually creating a file at all!

i'm using recommended via chipset, and i've flashed many ms28's before. regardless of whether i use bad flash method or regular method, i'll get the same result.

i tried re-iprep'in my system and that doesnt seem to have made any difference whatsoever...

anyone else ever had this problem? and if so how did you fix it?

tried 0800 disc?

i was using bad flash method as i dont have any dual layer discs at the moment.

i'll try the 0800 disc when i get my hands on one.
