I flashed my Benq drive and it worked first time no messing around.
For peeps interested here is my setup and what I did as it differed a little from the readme....
my mobo is a Abit IN9 32X-MAX WiFi nForce 680 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Mobo Specs
I connected the benq drive to my Mobo SATA port.
Turned on the 360
Turned on my PC
Let Windows Vista bootup normally
Set dosflash32 to run in Win XP SP2 compat mode
Ran dosflas32
The window came up saying if you wanna resend the mtk vendor intro cmd. I pressed Yes
I turned off the 360
Waited 2 seconds
Turned on the 360
dosflash32 now came up
I read the FW and saved it as orig.bin
Opened the orig.bin and with a couple of tools made sure it was read OK
I then ran the orig.bin through fast firmtool
Switched back to the still running dosflash32
Selected write FW
Boom
Thats it all working 100% vista flash :-)
Although here is the problem, after the below steps,

When I turn back on my 360 it completely freezes my computer and dosflash32 does not come up. Any idea what the problem is?
