Test Motherboard Traces For Dvd
« on: October 27, 2007, 02:55:00 PM »

I recently got screwed on Ebay with this 360. Ive reading and trying things for weeks now. I believe I got the keys off the drive. What it seems is happening is that the drive is not getting power or signal to do anything. I tried a different 59 also with the same results wouldnt spin up eject, won't eject in windows etc. Anyway what is a good way to test what may be bad on the motherboard? I was wanting to test the traces and see if theyre broken or what. Where are good spots to test for continuity for DVD signals? are the traces going to the DVD power cable pins on the top or botom of the mobo?
