Hello ppl (thats my first post)
So.. i am trying for 2 whole days to flash this f*ckin ms28 (i have via 6421 pci chip) and I CANT!!!!
First i connect the drive to my via pci card and then it displays the usual error:
HardWare Initiate failed, Please Check Device!!!
The bios does not be installed. Press <g> to continue!
i have read a loooooooooot of posts here about that problem that got me NOWERE!
anyway 5 months ago (in my first try to flash that thing) I think i successfully (even if I have ms28 it worked with the ms25 tutorial!!!) got the orig.bin file so i hacked it with iXtreme and now i have the ix12.bin
in mtkflash w /sata /m ix12.bin of course there is no device to be found....
Oh and something last.... the drive looks like this:

well after that when i connect my drive to the motherboads sata it says that it is an ms28!!! what sould i trust now?
