I've tried using both iXtreme and Hitflash and get the same error

FirmCrypt v0.1 - loser 2005

System will now REDO the Restoring!

Process will CONTINUE until DONE!!!

Press any key to continue . . .

I rerun same issue, rebooted everything no luck it goes through all the 11 steps and says done on all of them until the very end I get that error.

some more info would be nice!

from the looks of it, you try to restore a hitachi.

Why not use the RESTORE.BAT that's in the ixtreme pack?

Or is it v78?

what windows?
what hitachi?
what sata chipset?
what have you tried already?

flashix is to FLASH the drive, you need it to be restored first, so you need to use the RESTORE.BAT thats in the packread wrong (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

do you have any sata controller in you pc? If so try to connect it directly instead of using the x360usb
