i'm sure a detailed write-up will show itself in the following days.

hopefully you can just use dosflash and the nvidia chipset.

intercepting traces makes me very squeamish

I am new to 360 firmware modding.  Could someone please tell me the difference between the quiet and fast versions?  thanks.

quiet=slower read speed=slower read time, but better reading ability.
fast= opposite of quiet

I'm just a novice, Im sure someone on here can point you to an elaborate explanation... biggrin.gif

Fast == "is that a vacuum cleaner or are you playing xbox again?"
Quiet == worth flashing even if you never planned on playing a single backup.

Now it's time to create a full guide or add the benq flash procedure to the classic guide "hacking the xbox360 for noobs" with pictures and simple guide lines.
Have anyone trying if the new hacked firmware for benq drives work fine?
