I ain't bitching it was a valid question how about you take a glass of STFU and go back to bed?

dude, if you would have kept yourself up2date you'd already know it will be released SOON and there's NO ETA and that there are a lot of fuckers who keep whining on these forums and other places about the ETA

So you stfu

the new firmware will be tested again after the fall update, and hopefully will be postupdate proof
so just wait patiently for the release and do not spoof since that might get you banned

the firmware comes when it comes, not sooner, and bitching about eta wont help

People are curious about the release date. It's not bitching.
The one who says "stop bitching" just chill out,it's not a big issue.
BTW,it's a great progress.Even those metal armoured benqs are little children with the help of C4EVA and all the others who helped the project smile.gif

<c4eva> by the way, capacity on benq is all ok, seemed to be bug in using my VIA, so spoofers are ok, correct capacity is returned

So, disregard the previous comment about not being able to spoof smile.gif

Guys, everybody and their mother is asking "when is the benq fw coming out?" So what makes you think asking this one more time will get you an answer?
Asking "when is it coming out?" is NOT a valid question because it's been asked so many times and why do you think it goes unanswered? Because C4eva doesn't want to answer it. Back off and it'll come out when it comes out. Take a hint people! So for now, either play your originals or hit up blockbuster =)

How good is the BenQ drive with backup media? Is it picky with cheaper media?

Is it better than the Samsung? Has c4eva or any beta testers made any comments regarding this?

So common sense didn't tell you that somebody else didn't ask "when is the release date for the benq fw that pretty much everybody that has a newer xbox is waiting for?" Is that what you're telling me?

You're in the wrong, just give it up.

When I was in an IRC channel with c4eva I asked the same question. He said the BenQ's can read backup media as well as the Samsungs so that's very good news.. and a valid question at that!

That is a VERY good news for sure!

Regarding the FW is there any info regarding the stealth side? I explain; All the newer FW won't even boot a back-up if it's not 100% stealth. However, I am always using my original to play on the live so I am concerned about the fact that if it's such a FW it won't play my "crappy" back-up that I used to play on my Hitachi.
Or would it be alternative FW that give you the choice to go for the "I Xtreme" or the "not picky" which would play anything?

Thanks in advance,

Good night.

No it will be equivalent to iXtreme so you will need fully stealthed backups for a BenQ to boot them.
