I have not read much about these systems other than 65nm proc etc.


Do we know which drives are in these systems? Is it totally random like the rest?

I've only read one post about them being all benq's, can't confirm this though.

iv had a halo3 system and i got stuck with the benQ, but i sold it,

most likely in the Halo3 there is eather the BenQ or th Hitachi 79FL/FK

eather way pretty dificult to mod if u dont know how to solder,

but then again u wont know until u open up the system and find out which drive it is, but mostly likley eather benq or 79

I was lucky that both my Halo 3 and elite console had a benq drive.

The Halo3 I had was a Hitachi 79FL drive with a July 2007 date on it.

to the dude whoe said that they got STUCK with a benq(what is wrong wit you. its easy to get the key compaired to a 79k.) lololololololololololololololololololololololol i will take a benq anyday expecialy wit them releaseing ixtreme firmware this weekend.
