Heres my story. A long time ago when i first got my 360 i modded it. I have samsung drive and i did it without a hitch. I even did other people 360s. Well just recently i found the balls to just try xbox live and low and behold no ban. So i was really happy. Now for the bad part. yesterday i received the 3 RLOD and have since not found any working solution. I was going to send it in to a website claiming they can fix this error. Well see.

Now to my actual problem. I just wanted to take the firmware off the drive b/c in case they do something to it i want to have my key b/c i have seem to misplace the original copy of the firmware. So i do the normal routine and this time it wont let me dump the firmware.

The only change in the pc is that the bios has been updated. This hasn't only happened to my xbox, I am now unable to read/write firmware to any of the xbox'x. Does anyone have any clue what this can be. iv tried multiple methods and read multiple posts but cant seem to find the answer.

seems like you might have firmguard on that bios meaning you will need 0800 disc to do this.

do u know the sequence in which you do things??

like:


turn on 360
inserter 0800 disc
turn on comp
use mtkflash

umm if u can edit your posts im sorry to make a new 1 but it turns out that i had to use the 0800 disk for my xbox but that still doesn't explain y i could do other people who have never been modded before, but that question doesn't really need answering right now.
