Using A Globe360 Without Orig 39sf020
« on: February 03, 2020, 07:49:00 AM »

some time ago while flashing the computer stalled.
so i thought I'll solder in a globe modchip (not the V2),
but since the original chip has bad flash i removed the original chip.

now i have got the globe soldered in as shown in the diagram, but i still get an E64 error code  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
i checked all the connections and they are perfect

next thing i tried was flashing another 39SF chip i had in an old lite-on drive with the original version of the Xbox360 firmware, flashing went ok, so i transfered the chip into the xbox
but still an E64 error  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

the only thing i have different compared to the diagram is that the original chip isn't there and that the O_OE is not connected because of that. i left out the wire because that would only make an antenna.

i also mailed the globe360 producers but i haven't got an answer from them, so i thought lets try it here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
hope you guys can help me,

Simon

PS: if i posted in wrong forum part, sorry but feel free to move  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
