Hey guys I am new to Xbox 360 firmware updates and the different types of drives but do to 2 straight days of reading some great articles on this from I have a couple questions I was wondering if someone can direct me.
Just bought a new Halo 3 edition and I have the Hitachi with 0079FL and I just bought the 79 Passkey but once I have got the drive into B mode and I using 360 Toolbox 4.5 which firmware should i use. The firmware off of "easy bins" under Hitachi or the one that comes with toobox. I heard that you can flash with 78's but not really sure which one to use. Can someone clearify : 79_b00.bin or 79_e10.bin or 79_16.bin or Hitachi-GDR3120L-0079 - (ixtreme :78:V1.2)
Second question is about spoofing the drive, if i buy a Samsung which firmware is the best to use once I have the key off of the 0079FL.
I more quick question, if you buy the Blaster360 NE can you just put your Xbox 360 back together and do the upgrades on the 0079FL through it like you would a 0078?
If I firgure all this out i will put out an Halo 3 Edition tutorial with pics with all the stuff above.
