Help Pulled A Trace Up On The 0079fl

Hi Guys, im proper gutted i bought a brand new elite took it straight apart removed the epoxy soldered my wires but then i wasnt 100% happy so i started messing about and in the process pulled off one of the traces.
Is my 360 fucked ? ive soldered chips in a few ps2 and xbox i cant believe i fucked this up i should never had started playing

If you're near to me then I could help out by removing the tsop and reading the key using a Willem programmer.

Obviously then you'd have to buy a replacement dvdrom drive though...

depends on the trace does the drive still work with originals?

Although you probably shouldn't really be near a soldering iron if you ripped a trace, why not just repair said trace you ripped? RDC has a nice tutorial on repairing broken traces on Xbox controllers, the same crap applies to DVD drives.

Anyone with a bit of skill should be able to repair the trace w/o much issue. Just scrap back the trace that was lifted, solder a 30 gauge wire to it, then solder the other end to the other side of the lifted trace.

As far as I can tell the traces on the 79FL's TSOP bus all terminate at the point you'd solder a socket to, with the exception of a couple which go on to reach the round test pads.  Just make sure you've got no shorted traces and your drive should boot.
