Okay, let's try to figure out what wen't wrong.
As I said it was a 47DJ. No problem, right. I've flashed a number of those before without difficulties.
I put it into modeB using the SLAX CD, booted it into window using the eject trick, got it recognized and typed "flashix f 1009". After a while it says:
QUOTE
ERROR: Hitachi DVD drive is NOT flashing...
WARNING: One of THREE things could be wrong
#1: Shut-down all your back-ground programs
#2: Windows is in-compatible, try SAFE MODE
#3: Your DVD drive is not really in Mode B!
And.. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I try typing the same command again, using 1010 instead though, get the same error.
This is where I screwed up. I should've let the Xbox just be in modeB I'm told, but what I did was turn it off as well as the computer in an attempt to try and redo the whole process. This is when it died. It won't eject now nor go into modeB or anything. It's just... bricked.
Still, what could I have done, and what went wrong..?? Oh, and I might add that it had an unknown firmware already flashed into it since before. The guy didn't know what kind. Might've been an 0800 disc thing?
Anyway, if anyone have any answers, please don't hesitate to tell me them.
