Hey guys.   I'm using the FBAXXX Pro build 1.17 and I have all the CPS1 and CPS2 games I want as well as about 12 Neo Geo roms.  Every rom I have works, but when i try to load Metal Slug 3, the loading bar goes to the halfway point and just stops.  I have reset the system and tried again several times and no matter what it still does this.  The emulator tells me that it found all the roms files correctly so I just don't know what to do.  

If someone here has a working NeoGeo Metal Slug3 rom, can you please help me get this sumbitch working?   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

How long did you wait before resetting the Xbox? Some games take a while to load.

I waited probably 5 to 10 minutes.  It does look like the MS3 zip file is considerably larger (the one I have is over 70 MB)  Would it take that long?  I can try waiting longer to see if it works.

It's possible, I would say 10 minutes is too long but maybe a good 4 or 5. I have one game that I thought the emulator had locked up with, but it just took forever for it to load. But, I have also had a game sit at 50% forever.

its a 76mb file.  I use the uncompressed (c-roms i think) which is an additional 26mb file called Mslug3nd and speeds up loading by a huge amout.  might want to look into that if you don't like loading times.  But even the regular file should take no more then 2 minutes I would think, might want to try a different rom.

Have you used any version of FBAXXX previous to this one?  If so, you may want to go to the MS Dash and delete any FBAXXX game save you find there.  I've seen problems like this occur when a newer version was installed on top of a previous version without the previous save being deleted.  Even if you didn't have an older version it may be worth a shot to delete the save and try again.

Also, try unzipping the ROM on your PC and make sure it's not corrupted in some way.  I'd try unzipping it, then re-zip, and then put the newly zipped version on your XBox.

Update:  I still cannot get the regular 76 MB file to work.  I found a MSlug3n rom from another site and I added those files to the non working 76MB one.   THe emu recognizes Mslug3n but it tells me that the file won't work because the 256 ph1.rom does not have a crc of C871C036.  What can I do to fix this?  

I also have another Metal Slug 3 rom for NeoRagex that has the decrypted c roms but it doesn't have the Mslug3nd set altogether.  I wish I had the Mslug3nd set (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)   I can't find it ANYWHERE.

Since I have most of the ingredients to possibly make a working Metal Slug 3 rom, what would you guys recommend I do to get it working?  Is there a way to change the crc that is rejected when I use the MSlug3n rom?  Or can someone tell me how to acquire/make MSlug3nd?

UPdate:  Metal Slug 3 for FBAXXX PRO 1.17 build will NOT work.  I have tried all versions possible.  The emu needs to be patched.
