Flashing In Vista 64-bit, Possible?

As title really,

Just tried to flash my Hitachi 59DJ with the ixtreme 1.2 rev2 and i get:

unsupported 16-bit application

The program or feature "\??\C:\GETHITV.EXE" cannot start or run due to incompatability with 64-bit versions of Windows..........

Is it possible to flash the 360 on vista 64?

I recently done a v49 using Vista 64bit and Toolbox v4.0 if that helps.

Thought the Toolbox was just for V78 & V79 drives? Will it work for a V59?

Right just managed to flash my drive (V59) using Toolbox 4.0, but now my drive wont open or read anything. Thing is, this was happening before... I'll explain:

FWIW I used the the 2 wire trick to get into mode b throughout.

First I tried to flash my drive in vista 64 but I got the error as mentioned in the OP.

I then tried to flash my drive on a xp 32 machine, but it hung on the first step of flashing, no errors came up after 10 minutes of waiting so I turned everything off and tried again. Same thing happened, it just hangs. (I have the original firmware that was dumped from the first and second attempt.)

So I tried to use the restore function  but the same thing happened, hanged on first step, no errors after 10 minutes. So I turned everything off and searched on here for an answer. I turned on the 360 as normal and the drive wouldn't open, or read any media (Pro Evo is in there atm).

Today I tried flashing the drive using Toolbox 4.0 and everything went smoothly (This is on my Vista 64 machine), but when I turned it on, the same thing happens, the drive won't open or read anything.

Any help? Does this mean the drive is bricked? As I have the original firmware from the first ever attempt will I be able to restore it using Toolbox 4.0?
