Hi ..

My Xbox Pre got the Ring of Death, so i bought an Elite..

Is it possible to memdump the firmware from the benq, extract the the key, paste it to the firmware from my old Hitachi v.47 and spoof it to VAD6038. And finaly flash my Hitachi and use it in my elite ??

Have a look here on how to get your Benq firmware off the drive: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=619356 and try using the search function to learn how to spoof it!
Its been done by loads of people and there is a thread on how to do it... you just gotta look for it!
