Hi im wanting to replace my elites hitachi 79fl drive with a samsung ms25 and have a maximus 79 passkey on the way to get the key from the hitachi.

Is it possible to spoof the ms25 as a hitachi 79fl and does the 4.0 toolbox support this?

Since you're going to install the passkey you might as well flash the 79fl instead of swapping it out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Use your orig.bin that you get from the v79 with the 'Make fw' command included the Samsung iXtreme v1.2c firmware package. Type 'Y' when prompted to spoof and flash it to your ms25. Done.
