Problem With Spoofing Hitachi V59 As Ms28
« on: July 24, 2007, 07:56:00 AM »

I followed the tutorial in readme.txt in Toolbox v4 but I didn't do the step Flash keys. After flashing and testing I get the error: Insert Xbox 360 disc.
It seems that the old key is still there but the drive is spoofed. The problem is Toolbox doesn't recognize the drive anymore.
How can I fix this?

Further complications: I tried to use restore which failed several times. Now when I turn the drive on in Windows it freezes.

Made further damage by trying to fix: now the tray does not open, neither in Windows or on Xbox. I think its dead.

OK, now the drive doesn't work in Windows but it is still recognized via BIOS. Tray doesn't open as well (neither in Xbox or via Xecuter button).
What can I do?

You have bricked it, the best option now is to buy a new drive (as long as you have your original key) samsungs can be easily recovered but not so the hitachi's.
