We turned on the box and it gave us an error message that said "Your xbox needs serviced."

So we thought we'd just go in and move it because we couldn't see the green light. It didn't seem to work and whenever we fire the xbox up it flashes red/green and still displays the message. I would like to know whether this can be fixed or if we should just throw it in the trash.
