Awesome news! I hope there is a more informative video though when it arrives. Textbook said he was going to redo one and i hope it has audio words (narration) in the background giving a brief explanation of what is going on like how he does awesome in his other videos.

My v78 Video Tutorial looks identical to what is necessary for 79 drives and it should work fine for this new toolbox.

I flashed my 78k back in December using via chipset and the tool box at that time. what new stuff does this offer us?

is it mainly for the 79fk?

This is good news for me, my 360 crapped out right after the new fw came out, its like it heard me talking about it. This means whatever i get from microsoft back will be fine as long as its not a benQ.

this version will be hard-coded with the new ixtreme 1.2rev2 hitachi firmware for both 78 and 79 drives...
