nice release, i think a rom browser (like xports) is needed.  I dont want to copy all my roms and have them doubled up on my HDD.  xsnes9x and this seem to both like d:\roms.  I cant get xsnes9x to change properly(.ini has option but dosent seem to see outside of d:\ directory, if theres a secret them let me in on it!) so this option would be killer, maybe even make the default directory selectable in the gui (like xboyadvance ect...). Video looks real nice ingame.  Fill out the gui, options, a few more filters, save/load states and you got an amazing port, thanks for working on this, its much appreciated

see my post on page one. just both emus in the same folder and rename both default.xbes

This is definitely the best thing to happen in XBOX emulation in months, if not years.  You, good sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.  Good luck on the additions.  And PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, let us hex in-game.  I'd totally send you money if you did that for the community.

God bless you.

Does it save the system state?  Can i go back to a game in progress?

Yes you can. They aren't save states but proper SNES SRAM saves so you can't save anywhere or at anytime, only when the real game saves the progress you have made.

I've had problems with a few games crashing on me and locking up the XBOX. Super Castlevania IV and Super Mario World both did this. I'm not sure the exact versions of the roms but I figured i'd post this bug I noticed. Other than that the emulation looks excellent. With some fine tuning and a decent GUI this things gonna be incredible. Nice work nes! It's good to see someone still working on SNES emulation for the XBOX and it's even better that it's a port of ZSNES!

I re-downloaded Super Mario World and Castlevania IV both were "..(U) (!)" versions. They started right up! I must've just had crappy dumps. The more I play with this emulator, the more I like it.

I just have one question. Does this emulator have a Cheat search engine like it's PC Counterpart?

guybird, I didn't realize 256 horizontal pixels was too small and poor quality for you.  I should lock myself in my closet with a scourge.  We all know we need box shots that take up way over half our TV in order to properly enjoy them.  Perhaps you'll correct my awful work after you release that Genesis pack you've been talking about since November, right around the time you urged me to not create any of my own packs.  Fuck it.  Not like xSNESx resizes previews.  Ought I to have left them at their original resolution to fill the screen.

i dont know what the standard filter is  but it looks PERFECT when i start a game, havent got any problems yet, a save state system would be nice, also i would like some cool futures that zsnes had, multitap, lightguns, snes mouse all that kind of shit biggrin.gif

Is there anyway you could add usb support...that way it would be possible to use a Super Smart Joy  All you would need is to add drivers for standard HID divices.

thanks,
Stephen
