sorry if this has already been answered but i was wondering when you update with 1.0 what happens to the game types that aren't supported? (for example unstealthed xbox360 games) does your game just not get recognized? or does it result in a ban when u connect to live when booting up one of these discs? thanks in advance... and sorry if it has been already asked.

I was searching everywhere and couldn't find any answers so I decided to post a reply to a question similar to mine. I've read the tutorial on the bad flash and how to fix it. It hasn't worked. The error I'm getting while trying to flash is

Port: c800, Master/Slave:a0

I'm not sure if there's a difference btwn my "a0" and the above post with "b0" ... I've tried the turn off turn on xbox trick with different times and none have worked as of yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I apologize if this has already been answered in another topic.

If a game is missing PFI/DMI/SS, then it will not boot. If a game has bad PFI/DMI/SS data, it may still boot, but ban your machine. Always make sure you made your backup properly before booting it.

When I first flashed my drive my pc read it and did the whole 4 banks thing without having to power on and off my 360. I have a samsung ms25 and when I first flashed it I don't believe I spoofed it as an ms28. Do I still need to get the VIA card if my pc read the drive previously?

yes you do. all hacked samsung firmware is based off ms28 firmware, so you ned a VIA to do the 10 second trick to disable firmguard

Sorry about the double-post but for some reason the site won't let me edit my last post.

As stated above I have it set up VIA and I do the ten second trick and so all flashing seems to go ok. I get the "Please reboot your pc!" message and all banks are fine. However, every time I insert an original game, I get the "To play this disc" error and when I insert a backup I get "unplayable disc" error. Any help? I'm gonna try a couple different firmwares to see if it'll be fixed but I've already replaced the lens because the original lens stopped working. Any help? Any more info needed?
