If you have a ms25 drive you have to flash it with the same firmware type spoof or original.

Last year with another update from microsoft a lot of people was having problems with the error E66, that was because the console was originally shipped with an ms25 drive but as I did it, some people updated the firmware to the latest available, wich was based on ms28 drives.

Maybe this is the message that some people are recieving at the time of creating the new ixtreme firmware. If your original firmware was ms25 the you must use an spoof ms25 ixtreme.

Just flashed from 5.2a ms25 to iXtreme (answered yes). Not banned prior to or after the flash. I would be downloading H3 beta except my Crackdown was not stealth...I tested it on 3 other non-stealth games and they all came up unplayable.

That question needs to be answered. Very badly. How dangerous is spoofing?

How about the previous fw?

Since my xbox360 have never gone to XBOX Live, I just played the game in offline. However, when I flashed my xbox 360 with 5.3fw, I used the xbox360 to be a power supply so that it should generate the e64 error to be logged in my machine, right? What ever I flashed my machine with iXtreem, M$ could check this error and ban my machine.

What's the solution can remove the log of e64 error in the machine?

i have read that if you boot up your 360 without a dvd-drive sata-cable connected, M$ will see this as an attempt to flash fw. i hope you're not banned yet

Ya i would use a banned console or connectivity kit to flash. Anyways, just noticed this... "Note: Hitachi version is in progress. No eta." That means more work, then goes to beta testers(which will take longer cause its hitachi). The way they were talkin i thought the Hitachi was being done side by side with the TS? Oh well, maybe by the weekend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Yes it appers so. MS25 and MS28 drives

Sounds like some of you are still worried about the spoofing of ms25 drives.

I have had the ms25 with every major firmware include ms25->28->reporting as ms25 and ms25->28 reporting as ms28. Now just flashed with iXtreme and answered 'Yes' to continue after the warning. Everything is solid and have been playing on live all night.
