I'm not banned. I have a TS ms25 drive, which was flashed with Xtreme 5.2A (reporting as ms25) for months. Took the spring update, and played backups on Live since the update (all full stealth discs). Didn't play any backups for at least 24 hours before the bans started. Reverted firmware to stock after hearing about the bans, and have since been happily playing on Live with originals and Arcade games.

One interesting point: my 360 has had R6T3 removed since before I signed up to Live (for downgrading the kernel to the exploitable one). I have no idea how plausible this is, but since people seem to be reporting that they never went on Live with backups and were still banned, the detection of the backup might've been recorded somewhere? If it's an eFuse, then, er, mine obviously wouldn't work

I think it would be cool if this was also an option on the banned reporting website.   Along with a way to change the status of your entry incase you get banned after you put in that you werent.

I was banned the moment the update installed. After the 360 restarted once updating finished I couldnt connect. so either MS can detect you've previously had a flashed drive or this 360 has been blacklisted prior to update.

I would be extremely interested to see the ratio of MS25 drives that were spoofed as MS28 and if there is any relationship between that and the ban.

For instance the data shows (currently) that there 17 MS25 Drives with 5.3D firmware.  Of these 11 are not banned and 6 are.  I would like to know what version of the firmware the 6 used (was it the MS25, One of the 5 HT versions or the standard MS28 version).  I think this would be very useful, however it is not currently recorded in the Database.

I did notice that in the comments on person left a not that they were spoofing as MS28 and they were not banned.

I installed the spring update and continued to play online (test drive original). I updated my Hitachi 59DJ with 2.4 a few days later. Luckily I didn't turn on my xbox the day they started banning. I've just restored my original firmware and It hasn't banned me.

anyone with fresh consoles or elites get banned i don't think they are all i have seen is old consoles get banned can anyone confirm this i didn't get on live till i flashed my drive and i can still login to live.
