So for repeat:
Hitachi v32-v59 use C4EVA_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_4_Stealth (=Xtreme 2.4 with disc-jitter fix) to restore, dump, flash! (for restore NO original firmware required!!)
Hitachi v78 use FW Toolbox 3.1 (=Xtreme 1.7 with disc-jitter fix) to restore,dump,flash! (restore v78 original firmware required)[/b]
Earlier today I went straight to
"the usual place" without first checking the forum here first. I navigated to /XBOX 360/firmware/hacked firmware/Hitachi-LG GDR-3120L and look at the files in there and saw "C4EVA_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_4_Stealth.rar" with yesterday's date stamp on it. I grabbed it and applied it to my 59DJ and everything worked just fine.
I then come on here and see an update to this stickied post ->
Pinned:: Releases, Tuturial And Guides by Xantium and see this under the Hitachi section...

So I think to my self "DAMN! I've got to take apart my X360 again because I've flashed to the wrong/older firmware!" Luckily, I then see your post jelle2503 and so you've saved me some work (IMG:
