Some further info, the firmware should be available for all HItatchis including the 78 and 79, no software flash for 79 still as of yet. Watch out for C4EVA_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_4_Stealth coming soon.

Looks like its available now. people have reported that they've successfully dpwnloaded it, although i have yet to see anyone with a firmware mod mention anything......

just updated with 5.3 everythings fine. if anyone has hitachi firmware i can test that too as i have a spare xbox here

I just updates with My Samsung on X5.3A. It works perfect and the new tab looks sweet. Haven't played a copy yet.

FOR CHRIST SAKE. whats up with the forums!

I have a hitachi 78FK with toolbox 3.0. Just got the dash update. everything went well. after, i disconnected from XBL, and popped in a backup. plays just fine. after that, i took out the disc and connected back to XBL. everything a-ok.

I havent tried playing online though. i aint that crazy.

i am gonna go play my newly downloaded double dragon though.

update away! just dont play online yet. hitachi people anyway.
