A) PCSX2 is long since abandoned.
B) The Xbox doesn't have the power to emulate a PS2 at any sort of speed.

Heh... you joined in June of 2003, so I guess you don't make it very often into the Emulator forum.  You'll have to excuse the reactions of some of the other posters here, but you have to understand that a lot of us have heard the same questions and/or comments about PS2, Cube, Jaguar, Saturn, 3DO, etc... emulators for literally years.  And, yes, this emulator has been discussed before.

not new but what is some what new is the lead author of the emu has quit working on it due to lost interest/not having time to work on it.

Hey people I have a ps2 source code for linux. And im turning it into a ps2 emu for the
x-box i have been working on it for the past 6 months and i have finally got it up and running but with lots and lots of bugs probally be working on it for another 6. If any one
wants the source code for linux email me at [email protected] and i will
e-mail where to get it back to you. When i get it finished i will let all you know where
you can get it. Until then don't bug me about it. Its a lot of hard work. Also i have an x-box 360 dev kit and a ps3 dev kit. that im working on to. Hopefully in the future i will have designs and programs to upgrade the xbox into anyone of these. Until then later.

x-box is all linux base programming same with the xbox360 and ps3
create you a linus os program work with the ps2 source code. Write
your plugins do a litle bit of rewriting the source code for the ps2
compile your work into a installation file to work for windows ce.net
for the xbox after you fix the plugins for windows ce.net currently i have
fixxed my xbox with a pentium 4 proccesor however but the pentium 3
that is in the xbox should work fine. also in the windows ce.net program
make sure to install direct x and MS active x control pad for they
are essential to the ps2 emu. the source code for the ps2 emu can be found
at http://pcsx2.net/ , windows ce.net can be found at www.xboxscene.com ,
you have to look for the other stuff. and programming knowledge is required.
lukily i work for MS so i already know how to do this. System is still
filled with bugs however but it does play backup and original cd's. When i
finally make my final copy however i will have all bugs fixed. and i will post
where to get it on this forum. Also all you people that are so stupid saying that
you cant play ps2 on the xbox are idiots because if you cant do it doesent mean
that it cant be done we are all sorry that you are so dumb. I didn't waste 10 years
at itt  tech for nothing. maybe you guys should go back to school and learn something.

10 years at itt, i hope your b-s-ing cause if not you got to be dumb as a rock,its only a 2 year school, maybe 4 if you go back and the school offers it.
also puting a p4 into an xbox? doubt it, why hasnt anyone else done this b4,(ps if they have actually done this b4 sorry for not searching, just figured hes full of bs)
