Hi all, i've fixed my problem and I hope this helps yall. I'm Using a A8N-SLI DELUXE, to do the ms25 was easy as pie, but when it came to the ms28 here is what I had to do to get
it to flash using the badflash technique.  Firstly, I entered my bios and went to where in my settings I had my plug & play and set resources controlled by manual and then under irq resources I set all except for one to reserved, just incase, the one I set assigned to pci device was irq-15. Under Ide, I disabled Ide channel 1, Ide dma transfer access, sata port 1, 2 and 3, 4, and last but not least, Ide prefetch mode to disable. Then I disabled PCI IEEE 1394a, and Silicon Sata Controller, and last but not least again, I set HDD Smart Monitoring to disabled. I have had no more problems reading/writing with my sy-via-150 since. I hope this helps many others with simular problems, or atleast the same chipset with the same situation, peace out to all.....  XS we all love you!!!

anyone thinking about trying what I have listed above, think again for the time being, as of now, I sent the command mtkflash w /m /sata xtreme.bin and to my suprise it said chip erasing..... chip erase... and just hangs, is there something i'm missing for this drive? I can still access the drive and get the reading up to 3% and I can still erase, and neither require the bad flash techinque anymore, i've seen where people could still flash them if they had there original, and I have my original times 7 all over my drives, but still, there is no way to put it back as of now, if anyone can help, please leave me a message, reply to this post, or email me at [email protected]!
