I have been testing this product XBOX 360 DVD Power Adapter - Version 2 for close to 2 weeks now on a combination of 12 drives total (ms25/28, 46, 47 & 78) Im sure the Hitachi's I didnt list will work as well (except the 79 of course)

Pros:  Ability to flash without the use of power from the 360 itself which imo has alot less risk.  Cost is considerably less than similar devices.

Cons:  Not as cosmetically appealing as similar devices (although it does the same thing)

If you like to flash your 360 multiple times for whatever reason then this is probably not for you since you have to open up your 360 to flash each time using this device.

Seems to be a clone of the Xecuter connectivity kit V2 (without the power switch).

Much easier than using the 360 to power your drive.
