I did also try to flash in safe mode by the way. Using the same SATA cable in the same port I flashed the 78. Are some drives picky on flashing? I did download Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth_Rev2 because it does have all the hacked firmware files in a rar file. I have no idea what FW among the 40 to use for the stealth fw. I see a bunch with different numbers (32, 36, 59, etc.) and I assume its the 59 obviously. Should I use the 59_16s or the 59b_16s? Or another one? Now that you have read my novel lol any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Just use the "flash16
s.bat x XXXX" command. The '
s' means stealth. With my 59dj the flasher automatically used the 59_16s.bin file to flash it. You also have to make sure you unpacked this FWPACK.RAR file somewhere in your x-lg directory. I guess your SATA drivers aren't up to date/compatible, try to update them.

i tryed to flash to org firmware and got this but is still the same help
Dont use Vista to flash the dvd-rom ,as it denied to flash my laptop's bios yesterday. I dont think this would be an appropiate host to mess with something somewhat expensive.
