Xeno Top Gear
Posted by XanTium | March 7 12:50 EST | News Category: Xbox360

We received an email about a new device for the Xbox360 called "Xeno Top Gear". It has similar functionality to Xecuter's Blaster360 that allows you to flash your Xbox360 ODD-Drive without re-opening your console again. However the way it installs, the tech-design and how it operates is different as you can see from the manual we got below. Also included in the device is a Xbox360HDD-to-SATA converter. We'll let you know how well it works when we get the sample:
Quote

Xeno Top Gear Feature:
- Can transfer all data from the Xbox360 HD to your PC
- After the easy one time only installation, flash your Xbox360 without the need to open it ever again.
- Works with all Xbox360 drives that can be firmware-upgraded.
- High Quality digital Sata exchange switching
- No soldering required at all = no chance to brick your drive from bad soldering.
- Installation is done in just a few minutes
- Built in eject button, 360/PC switch, HDD/PC switch.
- High quality Sata Ports
- Superior quality design.of casemodding accessories.
- LED version will be available for crystal, smoke colors of Xeno Top Gear
- comes with 360 opening tool for opening the console
- no need for external power supply, Xeno Top Gear is fully powered by the console.

if your talking about the hard drive blocking it, i dont think too many people will leave there hard drive in that position for a very long time if you know what i mean

I don't like the fact that you don't replace the metal shielding of the chassis - that alone could cause problems for some people.

I wonder how this performs versus the Blaster360...

Looks pretty cool, but a little steep for 45.

Wow, cool, a blatant ripoff.

The cheap 14yr olds in here will probably like this one better than the original..

It's pretty cool how you can transfer files to and from the 360 HDD with this too. Does the blaster have that feature?.
The finish doesn't look as good quality as Xecuter's version but then again I don't really like the look of either. If it does the same job for a lower price then I'd happily buy this.

Like someone said before. I dont see a switch for the m28s and modeb switch. Also both the blaster and this seem like they block some ventilation holes on the top near the hd.

45 is way better than 80.

And they are already taking preorders.

This is gonna slaughter the blaster360

Pros:
Comes in clear to match my clear case.  +1
Can take game saves off with it +1
Its almost half the cost  +2

Cons:
Uses 360's power, so you have to move the power brick -1

I think the pros have it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
