Some people have more than one monitor and you can hook it up with the adaptor (There is a few of them) and you also get HD with them too....I'd much rather have HD Games with my xbox then non HD with my computer.

QUOTE(Carcharius @ May 4 2005, 07:36 AM)
If that is the case then that won't work - it doesn't look for the ini file in the same place as the xbe. The ini file is created in and loaded from E:\\TDATA\\fff3faac

Here is another problem:
if on one side, (generally) the settings file should be registrered in E drive, on the other, the fact that scummvm.ini is readed from the same directory of the xbe file wolud was a great advantage for those burn their adventure on dvd, already configured.

so, the best method to handle the problem is a simple If statment:

If exist(".\scummvm.ini") then
 load that
Else
 load from E:\tdata\fff3aac
End if

My bad everyone. After a little more tinkering, I found that if I hold down A, it does what I need.

...

Let the slaps commence.

Slap.....

Anyways yes it is a form of a PC emulator...It emulates the old Lucasarts games. I.E. Day of the Tenticle, Full Throttle, Sam and Max...to name a few.

Though it's not limited to just LucasArts games.  For a full list of compatibility you can go to http://scummvm.org/

It's not left hanging.

I have plans for the project but there are 1 or 2 things in the way at the moment.

Yes the other stuff I'm working on is xbox related - mostly related to developing and improving OpenXDK.

Great job so far! I really hope screen resizing does get added soon, since not being able to read the text or the action select texts makes some game hard to immpossible to play.

I'm just wondering if a newer version will be ported the xbox the newest cvs build supports some new games like goblins, and inherit the earth. Or does the current build support these games. I haven't had a chance to try the newer games. Hope you keep up the great work with this emulator. I love these adventure games.

I do have a newer build based on cvs code.

Unfortunately it's based on code from the end of July.

I do plan to bring that up to date with the current cvs, but am a bit busy with Quake 3 at the minute.

That'll probably be the project to keep me busy in between the release of Quake 3 and the arrival of the 360.
