Hello,

I just flashed a ms28, I suppose. I had to use the 10 second trick before it dumpt and before it flashed.

Also, when I made the 5.2 firmware in windows using the .bat that makes it, it said "standard" behind MS28 on the select how to spoof screen. So I selected that option.

But now, afterwards I checked the original in the maximus 3.0 firmware toolbox, and to the original it sais *spoofed as ms25* and to the hacked x52c.bin it sais *spoofed as ms28*. So which one is it?

And also, if it first was an ms25, could I be banned from xbox live for suddenly having an ms28?

I find this really strange so I hope someone can clear this out.

Thanks,

Martin

maybe i have the wrong end of the stick here, but your drive was originally what it says on the top of the drive. So if its says MS-28, it was an MS-28.

No one has been banned from xbox live full stop.

The only problems that having the incorrect drive reported is that you get a E66? error when you turn the console on and it doesnt work anymore. And this doesnt effect all xbox 360's, i believe it depends when it was made.

The original firmware should not have been spoofed as anything, it should have either been 25, or 28 if your drive has never been flashed before. There's no need to spoof something that is real.

I believe what ive wrote is correct, tho i am quite new to this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Almost Trune.
Every orig.bin i have opened with fwtoolbox says it spoofed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
ps2martin if your unhappy about having ms28 firmware just use the .bat with 5.2 and make a ms25 fw (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

But basicly you agrea that the firmware maker is never wrong, and that if it sais ms28 was standard, it is correct. I have no errors what so ever so that should be good as well.

I am not unhappy with ms28 as long as it works (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

About the toolbox, it claims every samsung firmware to be spoofed, I guess becuase its made for hitachi's.
