A lot of questions:

 1. Now any benq drive can be flashed with a hacked firmware?  If there is then where i can find a hacked fw for benq drives?

 2. With the dosflash 1.3 beta we can flash the benq drive even in windows like hitachi drives?

3. Has anyone try to flash any benq drive with this fw: "BenQ.Xtreme.and.iXtreme.Samsung.FW.Spoofs_1.0"? It did work fine?

Finally but not least
4. The dosflash 1.3 beta can read/write ANY benq & samsung drive??

A lot of thangs for all your answers.

BenQ.Xtreme.and.iXtreme.Samsung.FW.Spoofs_1.0 isn't a firmware for Benq drivers.

lol yup just seen this too :'(

Also, there is NO 'xtreme' firmwares for this drive yet, so as of right now this tool is only useful for getting your key, and using a different drive as a replacement. ixtreme for benq is nearly complete, and in testing stages. No ETA given for release.

For me i have one onboard intel ich5 sata controller can i use the dosflash32 or dosflash16 for read/write to the benq drive?
When we flash any drive the only thing we do is read and then write the new firmware right? If yes then why the dosflash has the option "erase"?
If it is created any guide for how to flash the benq drives with pics and very simple words please tell us the link.
A lot of thangs.

you can use the intel chipset to flash, but you will need to cut the traces and solder a switch!
You need Nforce or a via card to do that solderless!

But the readme file of dosflash 1.3beta says that the ich5 is one of the supported chipset for reas/write solderes. I thing it work without wires. the erase options why does the dosflash 1.3 beta has it? Where can i use this options?

you have to read better:

BenQ optimization in unlocking the flash chip, it should now be possible to read/write/erase
the flash without any soldering or wire tricks, the drive is polled for the correct mtk
unlocking status after power on, this only works for VIA cards and NForce boards atm

and the ICH5 is in the list UNDER this remark:
- the following controller list includes vendor and device IDs that are hardcoded to identify
the controller type (IDE or SATA), this is needed if the BIOS uses IDE ports like 0x01F0 or
0x0170 as SATA and not as IDE channels, this list is NOT related to soft flashing

So, next time read smile.gif

just flashed me benq drive with BenQ iXtremev1.1,  backup tested ok
could not get dosflash32 going in windows, used dosflash16 in dos mode running off my USB stick which was preped with iprep,  only difference was in the tutorial it states: run dosflash then turn xbox 360 ON then OFF then ON, and it will pickup the drive, I had to have 360 turned on at the dos prompt then 2 secs later run DOSFLASH than it will ask that YES or NO question, choose yes, it will look like its scannin saying  STATUS: 0051 or similar  , this is were i turned the 360 off than 2 secs later turned back on and it will start reading/writing,  i had win xp and a VIA 6421 PCI sata card, Thankyou very much to all those involved for all your work and tutorials that i have studied to be able to do this.
