#1 get a via card
#2 read textbook guide : http://www.360mods.net/Downloads/details/id=61.html
#3 dont use a floppy unless you 100% have to
#4 follow textbooks guide and use bad flash method (VIA chipset only!)

i say this once again, with your chipset (intel 945) you cant bad flash method, so ignore that, also you can get some very nasty side effects using a floppy, data can corrupt easy and if it does that while flashing/reading, well, its not good...i advise you to get the via chipset sata card which is mensioned so much on this website

Firstly to KarlsoB - your posts sound like you are reading my mind. Welcome to the world that is convincing people that they need to read :-)

thalungz - the VIA 6421A or VIA 6421L SATA chipset on a PCI card is what you are after. As to what make/brand that is, think of it as analogous to wanting a specific AMD chip, and asking what motherboard to get... There are many places you can get the card you need. Some of which are listed in the guide KarlosB directed you to. Beyond that you are going to have tyo give more details on where you live - but if you do so, be ready for flaming if we simply do what you should do, and look up the guide to see where they are.

I am not trying to come off rude but man there are so many threads that can answer your questions. I have a very low  post count but only because 98% of questions anyone has asked at least 10 others have asked. There are pinned topics, FAQs, links, and etc... that you should definately read before asking anymore questions. If you do not want to search and read I suggest you do not mod your box.
