I have some question about connect my 360 in my pc, i read some tutorial,saw some videos and i still have some douts.
1)Its just plug off the the black sata cable that is in xbox360 mobo,then connect with a sata cable that is connected in my pc,and let the energy where it is?
2)So to my windows recognize my xbox360 drive i will have to use slax 2.0 ok?
But in the tutorial that i get in 360mods says that is 4 methods to do this right?the slax cd Resistor method(that makes somes changes in the energy cable?) or the HotSwap method or xecuters Connectivity
3)So its bether do the slax cd?
4) After this mod i will check if windows recognize my drive ?
5)In tutorial that i get about firmware 2.1(xtreme) said that i have to flash then extract the security sector, but in case of Maximus Xtreme v1.6 Firmware for Hitachi-LG v0078 (FW package we currently recommend for this drive v78 - use Maximus 360 Firmware Toolbox v3.0 to flash)

to change the firmware using the 360 fw toolbox, i just need to use the slax? ,then my windows will recognize the drive..then do like video says.?

And in read me of 360fw toolbox say this

Direct flash of hacked firmwares over all hitachi
drive models attached to the PC. Even flash the
0078FK drives and newer (I hope). So forgot epoxy
removal for now.

Allows SMART PATCH for rolling code firmwares (Hitachi 0078) and
also Direct Flash on all drives, even the nasty 78 drives.

yes your drive can be flashed.  you have to connect the drive to your pc with the sata cable.  you can use the power brick to give power to your 360.  remember to connect the a/v cable as well or it will shut off at a bad time.  
the slax cd is used to get the 360 (hitachi) into modeb.  this is so the pc can "see" the drive and you can flash it.  The resistor method is risky, the xecuter connect kit is probably the simplest, but it costs money.  I would try the slax cd 1st.

hello sir , could u possibly help me with this 0078fk , have watched the vid on tube , an also read tut , but when i get to the stage of actually flashing my drive , i get an error 53 message an toolbox shuts down ? all back up bins seem fine ! so imust be doing sumthing wrong i know but what ! any pointers please !
