Is there any chance future firmwares may support CD-R for xbox1 games?

Also, I would like to know about the stealth/safety of using non-image versions of xbox/xbox360 games?

First: Thynks for your hard work C4E!

I have a question,
I have a Backup of my original GTA-SA wich runs on FW5.0 until the next Level but than crashed. Yet with the new FW my Xbox want to make a Update from XBoxLIVE! (of the same Disk I havwe played with FW5.0)to play this game. The original Disk need no Update to play this. I wonder what this is? Can you help me? Is this Update safe?

I have a TS-H943 ms25 H/W:005 Ver.A

ok i have a samsung ms25 running 5.1c

i am using a lite-on dvd burner with ritek dvd-r's

Black = worked through all 1st level no dde's
GTA - SA With hot coffee mod = worked into gameplay no dde's

Halo 2 = dde on load up screen... and then dde after selecting difficulty

would really love it if Halo 2 was fixed for next update cheers guys

Xtreme boot maker doesnt recognise the 5.1 firmware, we really need a new extreme boot maker version, somone know anything?

Its ok if it does not recognize it just click ok and keep going it will work. It figures i just took apart my xbox to flash 5.0b. LoL oh well.

I'm looking to update my v1 firmware (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) to v5.1, but I dont think I have a copy of my original firmware anywhere. Is there anyway I can read the key from the drive (without dismatnling the whole thing), or have it automatically copied to the new firmware? (I'm assuming I need it btw)

Ok media i use only Verbatim I have three burners a lg gsa h22n and a nec nd-3500ag and a lite-on bsoy 2.1
so what burner do you recomend not to get the open tray

ntsc/j 360
firmware 5.1C reported as ms25
ricoh dvd+rw (SL), ritek dvd+r (DL)
burned with LG H12N

tested xbox1 games on dvd+rw: forza, halflife2, halo
all working perfectly. btw, my ntsc/j halo couldn't fit into one disc so had to replace some videos with blank biks. previously with 5.0, none of them worked and was getting dde with some 360 games on ritek media. now everything is back to normal.

1/ If I have a Hitachi 59 is it best to use this Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth_Rev2 or use the Xtreme Version 51X-ht59.bin ?

1a/ If I flash a 59 with 51X-ht59.bin what benefits will I get ?

2/ If I use toollbox v3 for the Hit 78 can I also use 51X-ht78.bin ?

firmware 5.1C reported as ms28
HP (Cheap), Memorex, Verbatum, Maxell dvd+rw (SL), Memorex & Verbatum dvd+r (DL)
burned with LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1633S

Half Life, Fable and Doom3 gave DRE's on 5.0a and now work fully. Have a few others but backed them up with old ver of Quix and need to be redone. Confirmed they still dont work though.
