Only happens with two of my backups that I know of; Siant's Row and Test drive unlimited.  My guess it is happening with these games because they are driving games and the disc is constantly being read for scene rendering.  I suspect that part of the problem is that its ritek dl media burned on a nec 3550a.  I do have a pioneer 111d on its way, so I will try reburning if 5.2 doesnt help.  As a side note, my Test Drive unlimited backup quit working with the 4.x firmwares.  I'm guessing its related to read stategy changes in the ms28 firmware.  It would start to load, but would lock up before I could even get to the main menu.  It started working again with the 5.1, so obviously some of the read strategy has been changed in the ms28 5.1 code.  Are you aware of any more changes to the read stategy in the 5.2?

I decided to take the plunge and upgrade from 3.2 to 5.1A.
I have a 25 and entered that selection when using xsam to update the keys.

I used to get a lock up about once a week one the console with 3.2 and now
I get a lock up daily. Same media/game so the only thing changed is the FW.

Your right, I could try 5.1B,C,D. But as far as I know 5.1A should have
been equivalent to my 3.2 version.

Any thoughts?
